Privacy policy

At The Startup Bug, we care about your privacy. We collect some personal information to help run our entrepreneurship programs—like your name, email, school, and feedback—but we only use it to support your learning experience, communicate with you, and improve our programs.

We follow privacy laws in the U.S. and also comply with the GDPR for students in Europe. That means you have rights over your data. You can ask us to see what we’ve collected, fix it if it’s wrong, or delete it if you no longer want us to have it. If you’re under 18, we’ll ask for a parent or guardian’s permission before collecting your data.

We never sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted services (like email or cloud platforms) to help us run our programs, but only if they agree to keep it safe. If your data is transferred outside your country (like to the U.S.), we take steps to protect it.

We keep your information only as long as we need to, and then we delete or anonymize it. You can always reach out to us if you have questions or want to manage your data.

📬 Contact us anytime at programs@thestartupbug.org if you have questions about your data or want to exercise your rights.
